Buying Park Hopper w/water option and DDP

Hi all,
New to this but was curious about purchasing the Park Hopper Ticket with water option and the DDP. My trip is on Aug 28 this year (group of 8) and when I booked the Magical Express a few months ago the CM told me that I had to buy the Park Ticket and the DDP when I arrived. I heard that Park ticket prices go up in August here on the Disboards so I now would much rather call Disney and buy my tickets now. I would much rather buy these things and get them off my debt now than wait for my trip..why isn't paying in advance an option??? OR is it???

DDP has to be added to your reservation at least 48 hours in advance but is paid at check in (I believe because MS isn't set up to accept payments).

However, park tickets can be purchased anywhere and you can get them before you go. I just bought my AP's and park hoppers for my August trip.

Where did you buy your park tickets?

I ordered the AP's from the member website and will pick them up when I get there.

The MYW park hoppers I got through my local AAA office.

When do the prices go up? We are going to buy APs (not sure on the regular or Premium yet) but we don't actually have our first trip until Sept, but would like to purchase before the prices go up.

Where did you buy your park tickets?

For the last few years I have always gotten park tickets from undercovertourist.com. They even allow returns under certain conditions. If you sign up for a specials newsletter at mousesavers.com you can also get an even better deal.
