I don't remember as its been a while (DD is now 8!) however I always used to take all our nappies with us as they are light and left room for brining back other stuff!!! Also I knew they were a good fit on her so less chance of leaks and stuff. I would take them out of the pack and spread them across all the cases.
Me too. Although on dd first trip I didn't take enough and had to buy some at Walmart, at that time they wasn't any cheaper than buying them here. So always used to take enough to last after that.
I can confirm having just come back that the sizes are in lbs and not in sizes like we have ie a size 5... The lb brackets are also not the same. They are also more expensive than you can get over here on supermarket etc deals for example we had our youngest DD in pull ups which we bought here for a packet f 12 for £2.50- out there the same size (roughly) pack was $9.89 in Walmart or publix for a pack of 32. Packing them for the trip is so much easier and as a PP said, gives you more space for more stuff to bring home! I also didn't see a 'small packet' either (the 32 pack was the smallest!) so make sure you pack enough to last and not run out!!!
Thanks everyone for replying. I thought for sure they would be cheaper in the US - most things are. Will definitely pack as many as I can from this side. Now to decide how many to take for 2 weeks...
