Buying other tickets at a discount with an Annual Pass

I will be travelling with my family next week to Orlando. On a trip last year I bought an annual pass for Sea World and Busch Gardens. When I phoned SW they said I am entitled to buy tickets for my family at discount of 15% and that I can buy tickets at both parks.

Could anyone confirm if this is correct? I thought it was only at the park the ticket was originally purchased.

I have a platinum pass from BG in Williamsburg. I can only buy discount tickets at my "home" park, not the others even though I can get in to all of them with my platinum pass.

I think it depends on which park you bought it at. They all seem to have different rules and one person I spoke with told me that the Williamsburg passes are "weirder" than the ones from the other parks.

Right now, though, Sea World is having a special - I think it is until April 30. If you have a platinum pass (from any park) you can buy a one day pass for friends and family for $39.95 or something like that. I had to log on to the passholders site on the website to get it, though.

If you go to www.seaworld.com and act like your going to buy tickets, you get get a list of all the discounts that annual passes offer. It looks like it is $8 off each ticket for whatever park you have a membership for (it used to be a %).

If you go online and log in to the passholder section you can buy advanced tickets for friend and family for 39.95 plus tax each. They are the printable kind.
