Buying more DVC points

Hi there,

me and my new wife recently bought 160 points in the animal kingdom but since we got back to england we have been toying with the idea of buying another 160 points so we can have the bigger rooms when we go back, has anyone tryed to do this? if you have is it added on to the mortgage that disney provided us with or do we have to take out a seperate mortgage again and put another deposit down?

Think I have read somewhere that you can add a minimum of 50 points if you take Disney's finance, and 25 if you just buy them.

Ring up your disney sales rep and see what he can offer you. Say you are thinking about it but need this or that to make it work. Worth a try!

We already own at VB & VWL but decided since DD came along a 1 bed suits us best and we need to add some more points. We went along to visit our rep when we were Orlando in May, just to find out what deals were on, we didn't care what resort but were looking to see where the best offers were.

We took some info home with us, sorted out our finances and then called to add on 50 points. Disney then sent the docs by fed-ex and we signed and then arranged for the courer to collect....no problem at all.

Don't know about the Disney finance bit as we financed the points ourself.
