Buying in for the first time - so I call a main DVC number or a specific guide?

When buying into DVC via Disney (not resale) - is there a main number I call, or can I call a specific guide? If the latter, can anyone recommend a guide to talk to about a new purchase?

It's a series of videos that you can view on-line that tell about how DVC works, about the resort, provides info on the world passport and Dis Adventures collection, etc.
