Buying discount ticket codes from Ebay

Run away, run very far away. This screams "scam" to me.

Thank you. I was thinking the same thing but wasn't sure because of all the positive feedback from those who bought them.

Looks like a coupon code that you have to redeem on the Universal Web site -- so you should be able to find out pretty quick if it works.

I'm with mesa, tho -- I wouldn't touch it myself.

seems pretty legit with the positive feedback and minimal risk at 3.99/4.99 . . . though it says can only be used after 2 p.m. which is interesting.

The fact that no residency is needed probably is enough for me to roll the dice as that is a big discount . . . but I would expect the worst with this.

I would not do this. Until a few months ago, there was an after 2 ticket to purchase by the public. That has been discontinued. There are some available that can only be purchased via a conference and not through the parks.

Sounds like maybe the coupon codes he's selling are "leftover" codes that were intended for conference-goers.

Even with that link, those are still conference tickets. I wouldn't bank on being able to use them as those were discontinued for the general public. If you can't get to that link through the main universalorlando.com site, I wouldn't chance it.

::yes::

All this sounds just like when they were trying to sell universal tickets that had already been used once or twice and were telling people they were still good.
I don't trust any Ebay tickets or codes and I say look the other way when it comes to these so called deals

I agree. I understand people want to save money on tickets which is fine but buying a ticket on Ebay just doesn't make sense. There are too many unknowns involved and if someone does buy a ticket and gets to the gate and its no good...they are out a lot of money. I just don't think its worth taking a chance on.

I agree metro cause I would rather buy a ticket from a reliable source than to take a chance on what might be a dirt cheap ticket or codes from a too good to be true site :thumbsup2
