I plan to bring enough (well I'm shipping them down) - but can anyone tell me if we run out due to unforeseen circumstances how hard it is to find larger sizes?

We will be at the Poly - w/ no car- DD#1 wears size 5 and DD#2 size 4 - can you tell me if I will be able to find those sizes in either pampers cruisers or huggies if they don't carry pampers? What about at the GF or the Contempoary? Can I get diapers in the parks (not sure but the MK baby care center might be closed for part of our trip - it is on this site and several others but can't get confirmation from disney -so I figure I won't be able to get them there)?

I know they carried Huggies when we were there last in January. They only had size 3 or 4, I can't remember. I know I was surprised by such a small selection.

Ditto on the Huggies. We stayed at CBR and needed to get some too. I can't remember the size.

You can also buy diaper packs in the vending machines in the park bathrooms. You get a diaper, wipes, cream, and a couple other little things for a few dollars if you're in a pinch.

If you're really stuck while you're down there, some of the grocery stores will deliver. Good luck!

We have always ordered a packeage of diapers from garden grocer and had them delivered. Along with things like cases of water, beer/wine, bread, peanut butter & jelly and wipes. They deliver everything to bell service who then brings it all to your room. There is a delivery charge, but it was nothing compared to the shipping we would have paid. We also have decided to place a second order while there and they were very fast, had it to bell service in several hours.

Ditto. We have had good service with Garden Grocer. We always buy a case of diapers, and they sure are more expensive than I'd pay at Target here, but I don't have to deal with getting them to the resort. No shipping, no luggage charge, etc.

We bought diapers at the Contemporary since we ran out. I ordered from Garden Grocer, but I guess not enough! I think he was a size 4 or 5 in Sept, can't remember when he moved up to a 5, and they had it. Only Huggies though, no Pampers at WDW.

I am already shipping other things down like cups, disposable bibs etc so I'm going to ship the diapers in a box. It is cheaper b.c I don't have to lug the extra bag down (I would have to pay to check the 2nd bag). I'm already getting garden grocer but it turns out to be more expensive and then I know for sure that I have the diapers in case they don't show. We use peapod here and I know sometimes things we order don't show up and I don't want to chance the diapers.

That is great that they are at the contemporary. I figure 10 a day is MORE than enough for 10 days but you never know if they will need extras if they run through the sprinklers or it pours and they get drenched or whatever - I just want an alternative if needed.

Diapers are EXPENSIVE to ship. How much is your extra bag? You might find that it's cheaper just to check another bag than to ship stuff. (Although, if you are concerned with them getting lost, I would think that it's much more likely that USPS/UPS or the airline would lose your stuff than for your Garden Grocer order not to show up.)

ETA: And I bet Garden Grocer will remedy any problem quicker than USPS/UPS or the airline would!

You could always order from diapers.com and have them deliver what you need. Any order that includes diapers and is over $49 is free.

They sell Huggies Snug & Dry and I have seen the Little Movers as well. Smallest size I have ever seen is 3. I have seen sizes 4 & 5. I don't think the gift shops have that large of a selection, but in the Baby Care Centers in the Park they have a much larger selection. I have seen 5 & even 6 there. Off hand I remember EPCOT, MK & AK having a lot of diapers.

I already priced it out - this is what several of my friends have done as well. Fedex - a small book box that, I already tried to pack it so I know what fits, on the slowest shipping - I am also sending down bibs, cups, utensils etc - so not just diapers. Costs about $20-30 based on the weight and size box (checked their site which lists cost by weight and size box). It will cost me $60 ($30 there and $30 back) to bring an extra bag on the plane and I would have to buy a bigger one b.c the smaller duffel bag I would use doesn't hold what I want to send. I can then track it and if it doesn't make it I will call GG and have them add it to the order.
