Buying BLT and dues?

I have a June use year. If I add on 150 points at BLT, will I need to pay dues on this year's points. When I get 150 more points in June, will I pay the whole year's dues on these? Also, do you pay dues on DPs or are they just freebies? TIA

ETA: I just read another thread - it looks like I will not get BLT points until June, right? Will I have to pay a partial year's dues then?

Dues are pro-rated based on the later of: your purchase date, the start of your initial Use Year and the occupancy date of the unit you purchase.

With a June UY, if you purchased today and your contract started with the June 2009 points and your occupancy date was Sep 1, 2009 then your dues would be pro-rated from Sep 1, 2009. You would owe approximately 4 months worth of dues for 2009 (they bill based on the number of days left in the year, 122 in this example). You wouldn't have to pay until probably Oct 1, 2009.

you won't get your BLT points until Sept.

you should have DP (developer points) to use until Oct 3, 2009. the DP are for the same amount of points that your brought.

at WDW they can only be used at SSR.
