Buying BCV through resale question?

OK - so I called Disney today to find out about the prices and the waitlist for BCV to determine if we want to try to buy through Disney or through resale.

The SA at Disney told me that BCV is hardly ever passing ROFR right now because Disney wants to buy all the BCV contracts back. Does this sound right? Now I'm scared to attempt to buy BCV through resale.

Any thoughts from anyone? Thanks!

I closed on BCV through resale within the last 30 days. It passed ROFR in about 2 days.

I doubt that the guide has the correct story. Why would BCV be singled out?

Just take a look at the Donald is #1 ROFR thread below. It shows that BCV contracts also pass ROFR thru Disney.

I don't know about resale, but I called on Monday to ask to be put on a waitlist for BC. I was pleasantly surprised to be told they had one single contract that I snatched up!!

I'm one of the lucky ones to pass with BCV in just a few days last week. It seems from the ROFR list that reasonable offers per point will be pass without problem. I would imagine that Disney is wisely spending their efforts to sell the two properties that they currently have available and it would be financially better for them to sell those points first. My BCV just passed thru ROFR within the last 30 days, but I'm sure that was because my offer was reasonable.
If your offer is too low, hey, Disney might just snatch it from ya.

btw, I used Donald's list to decide what to offer.
