Buying baby things in disney or outside??

We are flying over from the uk in 2 months are expecting twins, we want to buy some bits for babies but are not sure where to look. We know that we can get some good stuff in down town disney but what other baby shops are there??

Are you looking for Disney stuff for babies? I think you'll see a lot of baby stuff sprinkled throughout all of WDW, but there certainly is a huge baby section in the big World of Disney store at Downtown Disney.

we are looking for normal stuff as well as everything over here is so expensive. I know we can look in toys r us but not sure what other stores do baby things

I would go to the outlet mall. It's a taxi ride (or short drive if you have a car) offsite - maybe 15 min depending on where your resort is.

Carter's
Gymboree
Hartstrings
Oshkosh
Polo Ralph Lauren Children

(there are more stores, but these are the ones I normally look through)

I bought a lot of stuff there while on vacation while I was expecting DS, and also for my sister when she was expecting. I did take an extra suitcase!

There is also a Disney outlet store there, where you can get some baby Disney branded items.

This is all mostly clothing related stuff. I'm not sure if you'd be looking to take strollers, car seats, etc back - but if so, Babiers R Us and Toys R Us may be best. You can also find a lot of baby items at Target (I normally shop the clearance racks there, but regular prices will seem very good to you).

I've bought DS some baby items in the UK while we were travelling there. I ran out of diapers and just needed a couple warmer items. I could not believe how expensive it all was (esp. because the exchange rate was about 2-1 then).

Another vote for Target. I love their selection for baby things, as it's all very affordable and seems to hold up well. Babies R Us has some nice stuff, but it seems to be more expensive, and Target has most of the same things. The last time I was in Target, there was a lady in there visiting from the UK and she had her cart stuffed FULL of clothes and toys to take back. She kept saying she couldn't believe how cheap stuff was.
