Today would turn out to be hurry up and wait day. What we were waiting for were phone calls and the first one came at 9:30. It was our realtor saying that the company that owned the house had accepted our offer. What a relief! David would be coming over in an hour or 2 with more forms to sign. In the meantime, I had to wire transfer a deposit from our bank to the bank that was acting as an escrow agent. I hope all you folks who are thinking about moving to Florida are taking notes!
First I called my bank in MA to ask them what I needed to do. They said theyd fax me a form and withdrawal slip. I should fill it out and fax it back. Let me tell you, right about then the novelty of sending a fax while on Disney property had totally worn off. But I digress
So it was up to the front desk to complete that mission. A while later David showed up and we completed the forms and I told him he could notify the house people that the funds had been transferred.
I cannon say enough about this man and how hes knocked himself out for us. He managed to get an inspector to look at the house while we are still here. That would be happening on Wednesday, 11/3 in the morning. For any of you thinking about moving to Florida, heres his website:

I told him I was going to tell 70 thousand of my closest friends about what a great job hed done for us!
That took care of all the paper work, at least for today. DH and I had lunch and then I thought about taking a short snooze. It never happened though. I was too excited about seeing whishes at the MK tonight.
An hour later, around 3, I was off to the park. The parade was just ending when I got there and lots of folks were leaving but there were still a lot left. #1 on my list was Mickeys Philamagic. This would be the first time it was open for me. I grabbed a Fast Pass there and headed to Splash Mountain, checking out the bird life along the way.
Ugh, a 35 minute wait. I went on anyway. Then it was over, I went to get the one, the only Dole Whip! Delicious but you know, its becoming the shrinking Dole Whip. Seems to me that the drink size was twice as big not that long ago.
I could get a 2nd FP by now so I picked up one for the Jungle Cruise and then went to MP. This has got to be one of the cutest and best 3D movies Ive ever seen. Great music and the effects are wonderful.
Once I left there, I went to PotC and then used my FP at the JC. I was on a boat with one of the punniest skippers ever. He really was into the part. By now its full dark and the temperature had dropped back to a better range. It was close to 90 for a while this afternoon. Hot for this time of year even by Florida standards.
Despite padding my feet with about a thousand Band-Aids, they were screaming at me but I plodded on and headed over to Buzz. I got in line and looked over to CoP expecting it to be closed. Wait! What was this? People are going on??! It was open. For the first time in 3 years when Ive been here, it was open. I got out of the Buzz line and dashed (OK, crawled) over. What fun. Its corny but a classic.
When the ride ended I did Buzz. By now Spectromagic was in full swing so there were no lines. After that I went to Main Street USA to get a spot to watch Wishes.
Then at 8 p.m. it started.
Ive been watching this online for months but I still wasnt prepared for just how beautiful this display really is. I had brought my camera to try and get a picture of the fan effect with the fireworks. The button on my camera is touchy and I thought for sure I missed it but when I reviewed the shot, it was perfect. My first Disney photo for our new house.
I got back to the room around 8:45. Then shuffled/staggered up to the food court for supper, came back and watched TV until 11. It was lights out and into an unconscious but happy sleep immediately.
High Point Having the owners accept our house offer.
Low Points Waiting in our room for phone calls.
Foot agony.
Weird Point Having CoP be open.
Best Point Seeing Wishes!
