Hello all! We usually order our bottled water from Garden Grocer, but it's just my husband & I on our upcoming trip, and there really isn't anything else we need, so won't have the minimum $40 required for the order, plus don't want to pay the $20 delivery fee. If we buy a case at the gift shop at POR, how do we get it back to our room? That could be a pretty long walk carrying a case of water. Anyone have experience with this?

I'm thinking Bell Services may deliver, but you'd have to tip. Otherwise, maybe stop there with your luggage before you go to your room and kind of balance it on top of your rolling suitcase?

Great idea! I don't mind tipping at all. We land at 5:30pm and our luggage will be coming ME. Maybe we'll go right to the gift shop, get the water, carry it to bell services, and ask for them to deliver it to our room. Thank you!

Once I get our luggage, I empty out a suitcase (one with wheels), buy the water, place it in the suitcase and wheel it back to the room. I'm cheap. :D

Do you have amazon prime? For DH and I, we were planning on getting a few things from amazon now. For that order we will use bell services. It will include case of water, few cases of soda and things like OJ. I'm cheap but not crazy.

I've heard they only have 12 packs of Disani, not full cases.

LOL, I can just picture rolling water back to the room in my rolling duffle. It will be swaying all over the place! We do have Amazon Prime, but haven't used it to order groceries with it. Do you know how far in advance you can place the order?

Hmm, I wonder how cost effective their 12 packs are. I don't mind buying several at a time. Would be easier to carry back, too. Anyone else know about this for sure?

I also read that the resorts are going away from cases to the 12 packs of water. There is an active thread about this topic here

Yeah, while they have traditionally had 24 packs, I have seen a "couple" of recent reports (one was at GF, not sure of the other one) that the gift shop no longer had 24 packs, just the smaller pack. Not sure if an isolated situation or permanent change in what's available at the gift shop...

Thanks, I'll look for that thread.

Thanks for the heads up!

It has been reported that they are selling the smaller 8 packs of water for $3.99 at the POR gift shop. It shouldn't be too hard to carry if each of you take a half of the case. :)

I read that they are selling the 12 pack of 12 oz. bottles for $ 3.99. Pretty sure it was on the POR thread.

Instead of buying the individual bottled water, I usually buy the gallon jugs to refill my water bottles. It's usually easier to carry!

I think it's 8 bottles now for 3.99 - no big packs.

Turner Drugs is located near WDW. They deliver prescriptions and stuff to WDW, but they also have water for a great price. They will deliver to bell services and there is no minimum order. They charge $7.50 for the delivery.

My husband and I just used Prime Now for our trip to WDW (Saratoga Springs). It was fantastic! For $27 we had a case of water, Gatorade, Vitamin Water, bananas and some breakfast and snack items delivered. Amazon delivered it to bell services, who then brought it to our room. It was all in brown paper bags, with the refrigerated items in a foil bag with two reusable ice packs!

ETA: We ordered the night before we arrived and we picked a window in the morning.

Does anyone know if we will get charged a package fee for Amazon prime delivery at Beach Club or Coronado? We have a split-stay and I'd like to get a delivery to each.

We order water thru Amazon. Back in April we ordered 2 cases (72 bottles) for $36, it was delivered to the convention center (BWI), we picked it up, stocked our fridge & barely had to buy a bottle all week. It was great!

I don't know how far in advance. We used it twice last trip. We ordered and had stuff delivered 3 or 4 hours later.

I know my DD ordered on the drive down to be delivered maybe 8 hours later.

If you use regular Amazon Prime, then you may be charged for a package delivery. If you use Amazon Prime Now https://primenow.amazon.com/, it's treated like a regular grocery delivery and no charge from the resort.

The earliest you can order Prime Now is the night before. What I did was create an order and kept it in my shopping cart until the night before we arrived. Some items changed price/availability, but I liked being able to tweak the order. (I'm a crazy planner :) )
