Is it the same to buy tickets at the park than buying them in advance? Any way to save money? We will go to 3 Disney parks... I guess we should buy the 3 day pass?
Thanks

There is a small discount per ticket for purchasing in advance. But the advanced purchase cannot be cancelled, whereas if you wait until you actually hit the park, you don't have any risk of that. For a 3 day trip, I guess I wouldn't bother with advance. Build in some time to take care of the ticket purchase and have your photo ids ready. :cool1:

If you are willing to wait until you get to the park why not just buy them at the resort? That is assuming you are staying on prperty. Also you can buy passes from Disney on line or at your local Disney store. We bought them in advance once and picked them up at the will call window at the parks. Never again. The wait in line was killing me. IMO it is best to arrive top the park with tickets in hand.

Beside saving money, you save time by getting your park tickets in advance. Try using the search feature, type "discount tickets" and see the websites that are available. We used Ticketmania, but others recommend Undercovertourist. Tickets are discounted at the official Disney website, too. Just type in disney.com, or disneyworld.com. They all go to the official site, and you do save money getting tickets in advance.

You need to know if you are going to park hop at all so you can add that feature You need to know that the per-day price goes up minimally, so in the long run it is cheaper to buy a 10 day non-expiring pass that you may use in a future trip, as opposed to 10 one day passes.

We purchased 10 day non-expire passes, and they will be used for 3 separate trips.

There's no advance discount on 1, 2, or 3 day tickets. Some of the discount brokers previously mentioned will sell a discounted 3 day ticket, but the savings aren't substantial. Probably $2-$3 discount at the most. It's probably just easiest to buy the tickets when you check into your resort.

You also didn't sound to certain about what kind of ticketing you needed. If you're unfamiliar with the Disney tickets, if you buy a 3 day base ticket, you'll be able to get into 1 park per day for 3 days. If you wanted to visit multiple parks on the same day, you'd need to add hopping to your ticket for $40 more.

Many people wonder if you buy a 3 day ticket and you want to visit 2 parks on the same day, if you can just use up another day. Unfortunately, it doesn't work like that.

Just an FYI. :)
