Buy A MYW pass now and save it??

As I understand it, the MYW pass expires 14 days after the first use. So, why would I not want to buy a one day pass now and save it till I have a day in Orlando when I don't want to park hop?

One day passes bought on or after 12/2/04 expire on 1/8/05. Current one day passes will not be sold after 1/1/05. I'm not sure if you can buy a one day MYW after 1/1/05 and save it.
