I was a little bummed when I seen this, I already booked reservations and everything, can I still get this offer? Can it be changed? This would save me a good bit of money:confused3

...if you are going within the required time frame, I dont see why not!:confused3 Call Disney and see!

If they told me no (which I really can't see them doing) - I would just book a vacation within the required time frame (whatever the dates are, Jan-Apr and then later in Apr-June) and cancel my first ressie.

Goodluck!:thumbsup2

I just did this and saved $360.36 plus I'm getting the $200 Disney Gift Card on top of and staying 3 extra days with dining and PH tx's. I'm over the Moon over this great deal!!!!

I'm trying to figure out a way to swing this.
Heidi would really like to go.
Looks like my credit card balance will be going up. LOL!

You should definately call. I already had our trip booked and I called yesterday and they applied the discount. We saved $700.00.

Great savings congratulations to all who can take advantage of this deal.:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Thanks all, I called Disney and they told me that I would have to call my TA. We were going Jan 17-24, stayin at the ***, I am hoping that they can give me this deal. Do any of you know if they can still keep the dining plan an park hopper with this deal? We had this on the previous ressies. What about the preferred room? It states with the new promo that its just a standard room. I heard the transportation is closer to the pref rooms. I am going to be on the phone first thing Monday morn with my TA. I hope I can get it, have to have the balance paid by Nov 24th. ;)

I literally just called and added 3 nights to the 4 I had booked in February! It was very easy and the guy was extremely nice and helpful! Of course, we didn't save any money, but since we're driving there anyway, we won't have to worry about airfare fee's or anything of the sort. I mean, who can say that they're staying at Disney world for 3 extra nights and only had to pay an additional $9.02 (that was the difference between the base tickets and park-hopper)?

Though, I know the website mentions the $200 gift card...that wasn't mentioned when I changed my reservations, and it's not on my new statement...

Is this the same for anyone else?

I called and changed by resi and it was so easy. I added 1 day (for a total of 7 nights), kept the park hopper and DDP and saved $473 and received the $200 gift card.

FYI - my reservation confirmation DOES list the $200 gift card.

It was easy enough to change. I originally had the Poly booked for 5 nights (room only), and although I'm disappointed that the Poly wasn't available for the special, I was able to book the Beach Club, for the 7 nights. So, the two extra nights and the tickets, are just going to cost $23. Give them a call, it's worth a try.

I guess I'll try tomorrow. The lady that I spoke to at Disney told me to contact my TA and she would take care of it. I have rooms already reserved at the All Star Sports but they are prefered room, with the promo it says a standard room. Hopefully I can still keep the same room and get the promo rate. I guess I will find out tomorrow. Do the rest of you have the Dining Plan also?

I would call back and ask about it.

My TA e-mailed me and told me about the promo being released and that she applied it to our reservation/ We are only staying 5 nights so she was able to get that night for us for free. We cant stay longer because it is our honeymoon and FI has to be back at work after being off 12 days in a row he wouldnt be able to stay longer. But we were able to save over 200!!!
People have also said look for more promotions to come beacuse the numbers are way down for disney for next year!

The dining plan is not part of the promotion, but you can have it on your package. I do...you just have to pay for it. Also, the gift card should be part of your package. I would call back and make sure they add it.

I told my mom about it and she said to book it. She wants this to be a dream vacation. We will be booking Grand Floridian Magic Kingdom view later today. OMG I can't believe it.

Well my TA called Disney today. There are no rooms available for our travel dates. I could get rooms though at the polynesian, but really don't want to pay 1000.00 more. The base ticket was included in the promo, in our original reservations we had the park hopper tix, if I did change my travel dates I would still have to pay full price for the park hopper passes, so in reality, its to much trouble changing all this stuff plus don't know if I would be able to get the restaurants that we alredy booked previously. I guess I'm just sticking with what I got. I tried though:confused3

I'm doing some kinda happy dance over here! I thought I missed out since I hesitated to book when I wanted too. My husband wanted to wait and see what some friends are doing. Since we're going the week before Easter, by the time I went back to book on Sat there was NOTHING available.

But this morning when I checked again, there was room at Coronado Springs! We're not really saving money since we had been planning on a Value, but I'm looking at it as an upgrade with 2 more park days for the same price that we already budgeted. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and find an opening at a Value between now and Dec.

DisneyWorld here we come! :cool1:

My TA called a couple days ago and told me about the deal. She said there were no rooms still available at the Poly Concierge, but she could get us in concierge at Yacht Club or Boardwalk Inn. I asked her to check on non-concierge rooms at the Poly since we really want to be on the monorail with our young kids (DD5 and DD2). She got us a MK view at the Poly and we are saving $1400 including our $200 gift card!!!! Now my DH is doing a happy dance about this vacation too.:cool1:
