On the Disneyworld web site I did not find anywhere to enter the discount codes If we are travelling during the discount period is the price quoted the discounted price.

You can click on special offers and click on the link that talks about the 4/3 deal. Near the bottom of that page will be a button that says "Book" or something like that...then you can put in your dates and it will give you the discounted package price.

Does the trip need to be ended by 3/27 or just started before that date. Trying to figure out vacation dates.

You need to start before that date... the last date you can "check out" on the special is 3/27. The latest you can pick to check in is 3/22, but that is traveling without getting the full 2 or 3 nights free.
