Hello, this is my first trip report. To get this started I will just dive in with the cast members.
Me, Willow 32 year old first time mother of a beautiful baby girl. I am a big planner of Disney trips, and a big worrier which I blame my mother for. I plan then I worry. I have lived in Australia for the past five years with my Aussie husband and I am a social worker.
My DH, Ratty 32 year old first time father of a beautiful baby girl. Not a big planner but likes his Disney trips planned out with precision. Ratty is 6’6” and a very muscled guy who plays semi pro basketball in Australia. He can look pretty intimidating but is a softy and really just a big kid. Ratty always dreamed of going to Disneyland as a small boy in Australia but never thought he would be able to go. Then he got a scholarship to play basketball in America which is how we met (we both played on our University teams). After we graduated his parents and brother came over and we toured the western states including Disneyland.
My DD, Payton, 4 month old at the time of the trip. Beautiful, amazing advanced, good sleeper and laid back baby girl. First time to Disneyworld.
My DN, Sydni, 5.5 year old. Sydni is a very charming, outgoing little girl who is usually really good natured and is used to getting a lot of attention. This is Sydni’s first trip to DW. A few years back I took her to Disneyland which she has talked about every since.
My Dmom, Grandma, 58 year old. School bus driver, big time worrier, doll collector, loud, overprotective and very loving. Grandma has been to Disneyland over ten times but has never been to DW. This trip would also be the first time that she would meet Payton.
My Ddad, Poppa, 65 year old. Very politically opinionated (avoid that as much as possible), lover of Disney, coin collector, stubborn, bit of a softy and very loving with his family.
That is the cast of this merry trip to the greatest place on earth.
