I'm putting these two together b/c we just don't go to either one too much but we have had good meals at both.
Downtown Disney
Counter Service--
Earl of Sandwich -- A very good place! We've eaten here only once and it was on our last trip. We all had the worst colds ever and all I wanted was the vegetable soup. It was very good. DH got the veg soup and a tuna sandwich- he said it was good. My son got the kids' pizza sandwich- it looked yucky to me but he liked it a lot, my youngest DD got the pb&j and didn't eat it, and my oldest got the Italian sandwich- she liked it a ton. I would like to go back and try the sandwiches for myself.
McDonald's - Ronald's Fun House -- of course--

It's always packed to capacity.
Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop -- okay- we haven't really eaten here- we just have to stop in at least once to get our free chocolate.
Table Service--
Cap'n Jack's Restaurant -- On one of our first trips with the kids- we stopped in for lunch- had no reservations but they seated us quickly. I rather liked this little place- pretty views. I had a grilled chicken sandwich that was good- but very standard. I'd like to try it again sometime; it's not a place you hear a ton about.
Planet Hollywood -- what can I say? It's Planet Hollywood. It's loud, it's touristy, and the food is average for a big price. Not a place I desire to go back to.
Wolfgang Puck Cafe-- We've eaten lunch here twice. The first time was better than the second IMO. But I did have that cold I spoke of earlier the second time around so I only wanted soup. I got the Butternut Squash soup but it was really really really sweet and I didn't care to have dessert in the form of soup in my bowl. DH likes their Califonia Roll but I don't eat tentacly squishy things- so IDK if it's good or not. The Salmon spinach salad is good, so are the cheeseburgers and the crab cakes as well. I'd definitely give this place another chance.
Fulton's Crab House - Worth every penny of the $200 we spent on the two of us.

We were on the dining plan that trip, but this restaurant is one of the ones not on it, so it was OOP. Ane did we pay for the out of pocket experience. DH had the clam chowder, I had the crab and lobster bisque. Both were very good. I also had a house salad and DH had the caesar. Again, both were very good. Then we had the Crab cakes- good good good. DH had this:
Lobster Narragansett A whole 1¼ lb. Maine lobster, oven roasted, and stuffed with tender shrimp and scallops served with red skin potatoes.
It hung off of both sides of a huge platter.

He said it was wonderful. I had the:
Alaska King Crab Claws - 1½ lb. of the sweetest, firmest crab meat, served steamed with red skin potatoes Outstanding.
We also ordered the grilled asparagus and potatoes as well. For dessert I had a creme brulee and DH had the chocolate cake.
Now normally I don't eat that much- I felt like I was dying when I left there.

We had to walk around for hours before we felt better.

I am very very picky about seafood-- I grew up in Charleston SC getting seafood off of the shrimp boats when they came into dock and going crabbing as a child and watching my mom cook them. Seafood was a huge staple in my house growing up. This restaurant was perfect. Nothing we ate was bad. I have heard mixed reviews of it- but I will say that it is one of my top places to dine in WDW. It was made even better by being seated at the very front of the boat- and we were able to watch the sun go down. Very romantic.

I would recommend it to anyone who has a date night and wants seafood.
And now for --
Boardwalk:
There's only one place I've eaten there- and that's--
Big River Grille & Brewing Works-- We had ADR's for 50's Prime Time at DHS and just didn't think we could handle it that day-- so we took the boat over to the Boardwalk. It was a really neat surprise- we all liked it a whole bunch. It's a place you don't hear about too often- they don't take ADR's, so I think a lot of people don't think to plan it into their day. I had the salmon- it was very good- and Mark had the Blackened Mahi Mahi Sandwich. The kids shared something that is no longer on the menu.
It was a very good meal and I definitely will eat there again in the future.
So that's DTD and the Boardwalk. Thanks for reading!
As always, I'd love to hear your experiences and opinions.
