Ahhh, dining in the World- what could be better?
We have had the pleasure of eating in many of the restaurants on site- mainly b/c my DH has a voracious appetite--
He's a runner and it in turn causes him to be in starvation mode constantly.
So today I'm going to start talking about dining in the Parks by going through each park and naming where we've eaten and giving an opinion or two based on my experiences. I'd love for you to do the same--- This is an interactive PTR! I'd like comments from you guys too!
So, without further ado--Here's a list of the restaurants where we've eaten, starting with:
The Magic Kingdom:
Counter Service:
Columbia Harbor House- this is always a stop for us- we love it there and eat there a few times each trip. DH loves their Tuna Sandwich; I always get a salad. The upstairs is usually a quiet spot to rest.
Cosmic Rays- while not my favorite CS, we enjoy their Rotisserie Chicken. This also has Chicken nuggets for my very picky 7 year old.
Main Street Bakery A must do for a muffin or snack! And- ummm... coffee!
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café- Again, not our favorite but their hamburgers and Pulled pork sandwich are decent. They also have a toppings bar for your sandwiches, so that is a bonus for all who like that sort of thing.
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor- Ice cream, You scream, and all that. The kids love it here, of course.
Enchanted Grove-- for Nescafe-Nasty coffee when it's the only place around and it's a crowded time in the park. (It's usually open at night- grab a cup and watch the fireworks.)
Aloha Isle- Dole Whips! Dole Whip Floats! I don't think I need to elaborate further...
Table Service:
The Plaza Restaurant- good salads and sandwiches, and ice cream sundaes to finish your meal.
Liberty Tree Tavern- A tradition for us. We won't even miss the characters. Lunch here is great as well. Their salads are gooo-oood. This restaurant also has tea- which is hard to come by in the parks.
So- there's my quick run down of The MK! I'd love to hear your opinions too.!
Tomorrow will be my favorite park...
Epcot!
