"But Mom, I want to come back to WDW!"

:offtopic:

Ok, here's the Primevel Whirl story. It was our first trip back to WDW after having DD(then 3). She is still too short to go on PW, but DS(then 5) really wanted to try it. I sent him with Buzz on it and took DD into the store to look at Potato Heads. We got out and were waiting on the sidewalk when Dad & DS came back and sat down on the sidewalk beside us. I noticed Buzz's white shirt had some black stripes on the back that weren't there before so I asked him what happened. He nonchalantly said, "Oh, I must've rubbed up against something."

A few nights later, I found out the truth. He was posting a TR on his laptop and I was reading through it when I got to the part about him and DS going on PW. Buzz is very prone to motion sickness and getting dizzy-I hadn't known that about him, even after being married for a billion years. He said the ride was so whirly and turning so much that when he got off, he stepped onto the moving sidewalk and fell over, hence dirtying up his shirt. Now keep in mind, PW is one of those rides where those waiting in line are standing there watching people get off the ride. He said he took one step and just fell right down in front of all those people.

DS just took off running and going down the path to the exit while Buzz laid there struggling to get his bearings and get up. He said he was so embarrassed he didn't me about it. He had forgotten he put it on his TR when I was reading through it or he wouldn't have had let me read it (that was in the day when I never visited the TR boards).

Of course, I nearly fell off the couch laughing-picturing him falling in front of all those people. My kind of humor. :thumbsup2

The following year, I volunteered to ride it, thinking of Buzz the whole time. Funny thing was-there is no moving sidewalk when you get off that ride. He was so dizzy he thought the ground was moving. He refuses to go on that ride now! I kinda don't blame him! :rolleyes1

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl: SOrry MDF, but you have to admit that is amusing.

Blue - great post. I am going to be sorry to see it end:sad2:

Hey!!!!

That ride is dangerous. It's the worst ride at WDW.

By the way, great job blue! I can't wait for you to start your second trippie. When you KNOW you're going to write a TR you look at things a LOT differently. All of a sudden, annoying things give you ideas for good writing.

Woo Hoo! You're almost done!

Goofster57: Hang out at MK and you just may get a chance to see Jennifer Aniston with some mystery man.

Hey Blue did you catch my Geena Davis encounter over on the Disneyland Trip Boards?

I’m just a “STAR” magnet, well in my own mind that is

Buzz, If I had gone on the ride I would have been laying there right next to you, except I would have been decorating the area with my lunch

Of course, I nearly fell off the couch laughing-picturing him falling in front of all those people. My kind of humor. :thumbsup2

And this is exactly what my wife would have been doing

Love your reports.

Thank you! Your comment was very much appreciated :goodvibes

Auntie Mame once said that Life was a Banquet.....

WDW is more of a Buffet... almost too many choices!!

It's like going to the local diner and opening up their 5 page menu, then trying to decide what you're in the mood for!

Well, whadja do, huh, huh??

Gee...I take a day off from the boards and all heck breaks loose

Yes...too many choices are a bad thing for me. I have a hard time making decisions when that happens. I haven't posted anything about my resort reservations in my pre-trippie yet because that's exactly what's happening with me right now. I'm driving my TA crazy - LOL

We are getting an early April break from school, thanks to floodwaters wiping out chunks of just about every road in my town. For every bad situation, though, there's an upside, and the upside here is that I've been home with lots of time to read your trip report.

I have caught up to the grumpy bus ride home from HDDR. I am looking forward to reading about your nature-loving girls at AK!

Isn't that awful? We didn't have the flooding - snow instead!

JoJo and Goofy woke me up that morning shouting "SNOW DAY". I made my way to the laptop, eyes barely open and checked the bus cancellation site - sure enough they weren't joking. DH turned around and came back home after sitting in traffic for two hours. I'm never prepared for days like that because the three of them interrupt my daily routine and I can't seem to get anything done. It also messes up my DIS addiction :sad2:

Isn't that the truth?!? There's never enough time to do EVERYTHING we want to do!

I know eh?

I NEVER have enough time to read all the trippies that I'm subscribed to :rotfl2:

cannot wait for the next installment. I don't know what I would decide to do if I had a free day.... probably hang out by the pool and drink something colorful -

Sorry to hear about your dream. April 27th will be two years since my Dad passed. you do start thinking more about the happy times.... He is with me every day

Drink something colourful :lmao:

I love that!

A big :grouphug: for the loss of your father.

(Sorry Buzz) :rotfl2:

Really...I am sorry. :lmao:

My DH didn't like the ride either. He doesn't like anything that spins, topples, turns upside down or goes higher than 4 feet unless he's in control of it. Personally, I feel safer on the rides at a park than on something HE is controlling :scared:

DH doesn't have an interest in the boards yet. Once in a while, he'll read my TR but it's only because I've opened up the page and left it there for him to read :headache:

Woohoo :woohoo:

I'll be over to the other board to check it out soon as I catch up on these boards! Thanks for pointing that out to me :thumbsup2

In the interest of my own personal safety I am not going to comment on what I figure your “daily routine” is :confused3

But if I was to be stupid enough to broach this subject words like naps, bon-bons and soap operas might be used

only saying if I was that stupid to take my own life in my hands. :scared:

I will now proceed to duck…..:duck:

Hey, hold on there! I'm with Buzz...I could almost swear that there was a moving sidewalk....or, maybe the sidewalk was stationary and the ride vehicles were moving.... well, something was moving, 'cuz I almost landed on my rear end getting off that ride, too!:rotfl:

jodistar: Run the WDW Marathon.

leisures-and-sports-063.gif
Okay - this will never happen. Walking is more my speed.
:rotfl2: Keep in mind I had to train for a year to do it :goodvibes

So I see you are up to trying to finish the good ole' report. :thumbsup2

PrincessJasmine08: Run around your resort in your pajamas and have strangers take your picture.

Blue, you're a quick learner!! You'll try it next time, right? Right? I am a little behind on your trip report, life's crazy lately, but I am looking forward to catching up. You've done such a great job, lady!

I'll have you know that I do not watch day-time soaps. All I have to do is hang out on the CB where there is enough real life drama going on :rotfl2:

You are right about the naps and bon-bons though ;)

Ouch!! :worried:

Okay I deserved it, if Sorceress reads my comments she will probably do it for you.

Side note:
Do you know if you hit your spouse it’s a felony
If a friend hits your spouse it’s a misdemeanor

All I have to do is hang out on the CB where there is enough real life drama going on

Isn’t that the truth, some of the threads are better than watching cable TV

:stir: :stir: :stir: :stir: :stir: :stir: :stir: :stir: :stir:

Fine, I am crazy. At least I admit it unlike SOME people! :rolleyes1 And are you suggesting that I'm not a lady?

Wow, not they I want to butt in and cause any drama, because I would never do that.........

but I read it the same way you did......

I was going through the last of my WDW pictures yesterday and I came across some of the video clips I took with my camera.

For any of you who are interested and have high speed, I pieced together one from Chef Mickey's.

I'm still on dial-up here so it took me forever, and I mean forever to upload the darn thing which means I won't be posting any others. It's kinda boring so please don't feel obligated to watch it.

This opens a whole can a worms for my next trip report

Ok you are going to get me in trouble........

I read your posts while at work and let out these uncontrollable laughs and people are starting to wonder what I am up too.

Of course if I get fired.....Disneyland everyday and Dis Boards when I'm not at the park :scratchin

Sorry, I have to disagree with you on that, I enjoyed it

You are very talented at this computer stuff

Stay at home Mom….I think not

Incognito Computer Genius for the Canadian Government

Maybe……

I'm still on dial-up here

Yeah, but at least you got the phone moved into the house instead of out back with the Out House

Not saying that Canada is behind in technology or anything

We went to the World Exposition in Vancouver back in 1988; we drove up from Seattle for the day. I have got to say that I have never seen scenery since that was as beautiful as I saw that day.

Now I’ll deny I ever said this but I have always felt that Canada is a few steps ahead of the rest of the world in a lot of ways.

Their citizens aren’t too bad either.
