I searched, and read some more recent threads about loading and other guests boarding with chairs and scooters, etc. DX can transfer and walk/board the bus on her own. She would need a seat on the bus, but doesn't need to be seated in the wheelchair. Can we fold the wheelchair like a stroller so as to not take a space for another guest? Are there CMs at the bus pick-up locations or just the drivers? We're hoping to stay at Pop-Century, so this would only be for MK as long as the Skyliner is running.

Back when DH just started to use wheelchairs, we would wait in reg. line and fold up wheelchair and at times DH did not get a seat. At the time, that was ok. Using the chair a good part of day, he was ok. Then as his needs became greater, we moved to waiting in the disabled bus line. We did just what you asked. Sat in bus seats with chair folded up, held it close in front of us. Now he uses a scooter at disney .

If she needs a seat I'd stand in the separate line in her chair and then fold it up on the bus if they'll allow it.

People do it all the time. Just wait in the marked wheelchair/ ECV load area and tell the driver you will fold the chair.
My family has not stayed at Pop Century, but in our experience at other resorts and the parks, there is usually just the driver at the bus pick up location.

Yes we took my parents and my dad needed to stay in his wheelchair but my mom could sit in a seat with the chair folded so we waited in the wheelchair spots. My dad was pushed up the ramp in his chair and my mom cautiously walked up the ramp and we pushed her empty chair up it and folded it in front of us.
