"Business Professionals of America" Is your child a member??

Anyone else have a child who's a member of BPA? My DS15 is away this weekend at a conference/competition. What are the benefits of this organization? DH said it'll probably be nice to have on his resume. He also was invited to join the "Southeast Tech-Step Up" organization, but I think that may be a semi-local thing.

I was in FBLA years ago... in high school. I'm not certain if it did anything.. but it didn't hurt.. if that makes sense.

Cindy B: I believe that BPA is the new name of the former FBLA. I guess they wanted to sound more professional. lol Did you go to conferences or competitions or anything??
