Busiest Check in day?

I am just wondering if there is a particuliar day of the week that is popular for check in for DVC hotels. I have been trying to get a Sunday (on a waitlist) We check in on Friday and staying two nites till Sat at BLT and I am just praying a stay opens up for Sunday so we can extend our stay and it is just not happening. BTW, I have checked for the same Sunday at AKV Jambo and still nothing! I would think Sunday is a popular check-in day....your thoughts

I think with points being lower from Sunday-Thursday, check in to the villas might be busier on Sundays. I know we personally like to check in on a Tuesday, if work allows it, because airfare seems cheaper than on the weekends. Keep trying as you never know. Good luck!

Sunday usually had the longer check-in lines before they reallocated weekend to weekday points a few years back; whether that is still true is unclear. I have checked in Sunday a few times since the change and the number doing so seems significantly lower and not any different than when I have checked in other days, although we also now have the impact of internet check-in which likely has resulted in fewer people in line at any one time because the check-in process is quicker..
