I really don't see the point of this thread. . . The UN inspectors are doing their work, and thus far Bush hasn't fired one shot against Iraq. .

Perhaps there are some clairvoyants amoung us, but personally I think it's senseless to argue about events that haven't happened yet and may never happen. . .

If, and when, and under what circumstances Bush initiates a war in Iraq, then I'll voice my opinion on it- but until then I don't see the point. . Like everyone, I hope things work out where no war is necessary, and anything else I'd say is just conjecture.

Of course, I unfortunately do not posess the ability to read minds, predict the future, and know the motivations of people even before they act, like some of our more gifted posters. .

EROS, the only thing I can say, and I'll try and say this in the nicest way...is that you might get much further if you didn't speak in the manner of a 15 year old.

Your large language, bold letters, and name calling do nothing to get people to see your side of the story.

It doesn't make you look too good either, especially when there are very eloquent writers making excellent points. I just wanted you to think about that.

AFR--again, I applaud the armed forces and I have heard of none of their members doing anything but serving in the most honorable of ways.

CRB, there are FEW on this board who want to see "my side of the story". That's OK. In recent polls, the country is much more divided than the DIS about going to WAR with IRAQ. I'm not surprised ...........

Here's the point, WILLY. Bush could care less about the U.N resolution/inspections. I think that he sees them as an IMPEDIMENT to his ultimate goal of "regime change". He doesn't want to simply "disarm" Saddam..........he wants to KILL him.....
