Wrong. Put up some data that is actual data, and not something gleaned from an op-ed piece, and I'll say that it's perfectly acceptable.

When liberals offer documentation, they're "belittled" for not conjugating arguments of their own.

Most of the "documentation" I've seen from two particular liberals on these boards have been opinion pieces and editorials. That isn't support based on facts, it is just more opinion that matches your opinion.

As far as a double standard, I readily admit that I hold factual articles and op-ed pieces to different standards. One is fact, one is opinion.

So I'm trying to get my point across with something you might think is more concrete. Did you read all of it? Do you want to talk about any of it?

And it just so happens, since you mentioned it that one person is a liberal. Sorry my views do lean more towards the conservative side but I actually fall pretty close to middle. Others have accused me of being a hardcore conservative and they're wrong. I was pres of the college democrats and am registered now as an Independent. But yes.......I did vote for BUSH over Gore. I do hope that clarifies my political views....... NOT that this discussion should be about political parties....it just seems like certain people keep trying to do so......

My mom survived Hiroshima, and to this day WE believe it was the right thing to do. If Sadddam can get asylum, it's a weak way out, but I think that is OK. Other wise be blow the country to the dark ages .If my mom can survive an atomic bomb ,then pray and hope no one else has to.
