Buses to parks from VWL

When staying at VWL do people use the buses as transportation to the parks other than MK? Or does it make more sense to drive and have the flexibility to leave when you want? How often do the buses run, approx every 1/2 hour or what?

The VWL/WL buses run on a 20 minute schedule. The Epcot bus is dedicated for that resort. The AKL and Studio buses are shared with Poly and GF. Going, the bus stops at the other resorts after WL and returning buses go to WL first.

We found the VWL/WL system to be about the same as all other Disney resort bus schedules and enjoyed using them. As always, I'd suggest getting an approximate schedule from a driver.

When we were there in Oct 01, we did not experience any difficulty in using the buses from VWL to parks. Stopping at Poly and GF makes the ride a bit long, but there are many times when I like leaving the driving to someone else. We're pretty easy going so waiting for buses doesn't bug us unless it is exceptionally long. Once on the return from Epcot, we were the only ones on the bus! What personal service!!
