Buses from Boardwalk to Resorts

I hope I am posting this question in the right place......Are there buses that take you from the Resorts to the Boardwalk and back? Do they go from the boardwalk to downtown disney? I have never used the bus system, we have always rented a car. Need some assistance in how it works.

You can go from BW to DTD and then change for another bus if your final destination is another resort.

Best way to get from resort to resort is by taxi.

If the Studios is still open you can also walk/boat over to the Studios and get a bus to any resort from there.
