Do you remember years ago when the drivers used to interact with the passengers.. they used to give useful tips and some used to do trivia quizes - made the journeys so enjoyable.

Nowadays all there seems to be is jazz or some other non-disney music being played ....just not the same!:confused3

A couple of years ago the bus information system was computerized. When it is not making announcements, it plays music. No further need for the drivers to talk to the passengers.

The music is supposed to be coordinated to match the park or resort to which you are headed - so it will not necessarily be Disney music. If you are going to Hollywood Studios, for example, it will play movie soundtrack themes, and not necessarily Disney ones. The only route that guarantees you Disney music is the Magic Kingdom route.

Personally, I'd rather have a quiet bus driver whose attention is 100% on driving/traffic and safety than one reeling off lots of miscellaneous tid-bits and distracted by talking to passengers.
