Not all changes are bad - I remember the first year we went to Christmas Town and they had live penguins, then we heard they wouldn't be back the following year and we were disappointed, only to find that the penguin experienced had been replaced with an ice skating show featuring Elvis Stojko, which was wonderful!
We have been to Dollywood, Magic Kingdom, and BGW for their Christmas events and so far would put BGW at the top (but like I said, we haven't been since 2016 (as we were going to Dollywood and MK during those times, plus, you know, pandemic) so hopefully it's still just as good!
Christmas Town is actually the reason we dropped our Busch Gardens passes - once CT wasn't included anymore and we had to buy it separately at full price, we just started going in winter instead and dropped going to BGW during the rest of the year all together.

(Edited to add: I just saw that Christmas Town is once again included in Membership passes so I guess we'll see how this goes as to whether or not we get new memberships in the future!)
