We are going to Busch Gardens on Saturday. I know it is going to be packed since it is a Saturday in July. This is why I need the help. I need an idea of the best things to see and do in the park. It is four "adults", the boys love roller coasters, I love animals. How should we split the day? Also where should we eat? I am a extensive planner and this trip was sprung on me so I have read much on it.

Thanks.

We love BG with that said here are our fav.

KaTonga show beautiful
Rhino Rally best surprise ride plus animals
Sheikra best coaster

We have been with 12 different people and there is not one of them that did not find things they just loved.

What about 2 year old and a seven year old? Would they have fun there or would they get bored?

Thank you!

We had a group of 12 ages ranging from 4-65. From thrill seekers to afraid of there own shadow types. They all found things that were right up their alley.

I would start by entering and getting a quick ride on Gwazi if the line is short and near the entrance, then head to Sheikra since it's the newest coaster.Since it'll be hot, go ride the water rides, the tidal wave and Stanley Falls log flume in Stanleyville and the Congo river rapids, the Congo area is being renovated but the ride I think is still operating. To eat I suggest the Desert Grill in Timbuktu or the Zambia Smokehouse. After eating go see the 3-D pirates movie or ride Rhino Rally, there's also the Katonga Broadway style show and a couple other musical shows like the one at the Marakesh theater. Then head over to Egypt and ride Montu,in my opinion best inverted coaster out there!!Then grab the skyride in front of the Crown Colony restaurant and take it to the other side of the park and ride Kumba.Don't forget to ride the train and try some of the smaller coasters in Timbuktu like Cheetah Chase and the Scorpion and some of the flat rides. They also have several attractions for animal viewing like the Edge of Africa and the Myombe Reserve. It's a great park,I think I might be there either friday or saturday but I'll probably spend most of the day at the waterpark(Adventure Island) and hop into BGT to get a few coaster rides.

we've been there three times in the last two weeks and the lines haven't been bad. last Saturday night Sheikra was never over a 30 min. standby, and it was more like 20 min. all three times. the skyride has been up and down because of summer weather, so you can't plan to use it to cross the park.

there will be posted times when Bolingo the baby gorilla is out in Myombe Reserve with his mother, don't miss him. visit the animal nursery to see who's newly born. take the train around the Serengheti out of Nairobi Station to see more animals......

I am also going on Saturday!! How are the children's activities and rides?

Also it has been years since I have been there but do they still sell fruit juice in the plastic containers representing what type of juice it is?

They have a very cute kiddie land and also throughout the park there are childrens rides this is my favorite park.

We'll be there in early August and I'm curious what is the "least crowded" day of the week? (if there is such a thing in the summer!)

Also, how can I find out the park hours? Are there really two parks at Busch Gardens - rides and water?

My aunt is retired from Busch and gave us some free passes to use. If we are going to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon during our vacation, should we not go to the water park at BG?

Or will our park admission ticket get us into both the BG ride and water parks?

Please explain it to me...

they're separate parks, but if you have a BG pass you can upgrade it for an extra day at adventure island. blizzard beach is still the best water park in FLA until aquatica opens. adventure island is very nice, but nowhere near BB.

you can find BG's hours just by visiting their website.

We went in August one year on a Wednesday (precruise) and the park wasn't crowded at all. All of the rides were either walk on or had less than a 10 minute wait.
