Hello!

Can you recommend a full service restaurant at BG? I am doing some research for my first trip to BG.

Thanks for your help!

Crown Colony is the only full service restaurant at Busch Gardens.

Crown Colony is pretty good, we like their family style dinner. It's a great deal considering your in a theme park but might be a bit heavy in the summer months. You get Fried Chicken/Fried Fish, M. Potatos, Veggies, Cranberry Sauce, Coleslaw, Bread, Fries, etc. And it's all you can eat for around $13 a person.

We get the same meal every time we go there- even in the summer. Funny thing is so does every one else we know that has been going there for 20 or 30 years. LOL Make sure you get reservations-wait can be long for a window table. There is a room with no windows thatyou usually can get a table faster; but waiting is worth it. If it is not a real hot day there is a patio area that is nice to eat on too. We usually plan a couple hours to relax for lunch in the mid afternoon-especially on really hot days. You can relax in chairs on the front porch and watch the park and regroup while waiting for your table. They have a piano player that wil be doing mostly Christmas music after Thanksgiving.
If you really don't want a full meal they have really good salad and fruit platters, too.

I think I read that the restaurant is either a 4 star or 5 star-the only one in a theme park.

Then after you eat it is the perfect time to walk through and see all the animals together before heading off for the coasters and things on the other ends of the park.
