Bus?????

We are going to WDW Nov. 22-30th, I have a couple of questions about buses.

1. We will be going to MVMCP on November 22nd. Will buses be running after the party?

2. We have an ADR at Chef Mickeys for 7:30 am on November 23rd. MK opens at 9 am that morning. What time will buses start running?

Yes they run after the party. Have you been to the Christmas Party before? If not it is so worth the money!!!

2. Buses normally start running at 6:30 am (I think). If you're worried about getting there in time, just ask someone at bell services to ring you a cab. Sometimes there may be cabs already waiting

1. Yep, there will be buses running, just like normal.
2. You will need to be out at the MK bus stop at your resort by 6:15, so you'll be sure to get on that first bus at 6:30. If you miss that first bus you may not make it in time. These early buses tend to run less often than regular buses. So, the next bus may not come until 7ish. The monorail starts by 7am. You can walk to the CR from MK. It takes about 10 mins tops.

Maybe more like 8 mins.....I usually 'say' 10 mins since not everyone walks at the same pace that I do. I make it in 8 mins. But, in all reality? It takes at least 8 mins to get there from the bus area. And if you are dropped at one of the far bus stops....Pop for instance, it could be 10 mins at least. It's not as if you can walk directly to CR from the bus..you have to walk with everyone else, towards the entrance to MK. then, once past the bus driveway, go right and follow beneath the monorail and go to the CR.

So I've been hearing different things. I am going in December, for the first time ever, and want to go to the Mickey Christmas Party and I was told that the buses stop earlier than the ending of the parade. How long is the parade and do the buses run much later than the closing of the park? We will be staying far out this time CSR. Thanks for any help.

The busses will run until, at least, an hour after the party. Don't worry Disney won't leave you stranded.

Could you imagine the confusion if the busses stopped before the party was over and then had thousands of resort guests that had no way back "home" boy talk about a riot!

The buses run as long as there are guests leaving the park. There are almost always a handful of stragglers buying one last pair of mouse ears at least an hour after the official closing time. So there will be buses. Sometimes the boats and monorail are shut down before the park is empty, but buses always run. At the very end, they may be down to just a few buses that will service multiple resorts, but there will be a bus to get you to your resort.
