We will be staying at the WL in May. We are planning several trips to DTD (Marketplace). I've been reading some older postings that say this trip can be a real headache. Long waits and many stops along the route. Maybe as long as 90 minutes each way.
Now, these were older postings. I was wondering how the bus transportation is now for WL-DTD?
Thanks in advance.

DTD is by far the worse bus trip from ANY and ALL (with the exception of those resorts where there is also boat service) of the resorts no matter what level they are.

WL shares with GF, Poly, and FW. I was just there last OCT. The good news is it's really not that big of a deal. It is longer than a straight there and back but WL is the second stop (when FW is involved) and you only have to sit through two stops at resorts that are close. Coming back depending on how busy DTD is you might have to wait for a second bus or stand. But only maybe. I never had to stand or wait last Oct, but it is not a quick there and back trip either way.

It is the worst of the WDW routes. Why? The need for frequent buses isn't there, so the wait times for buses can be long. I was truly surprised when I drove myself to DTD from BWVs! It took about 10 mins. It had always taken about 30 mins on the bus!!! But, as with the park buses, the DTD bus will stop at other resorts along the way...pretty much the same resorts that the MK, DHS, and Epcot buses stop at.
When taking a bus to DTD, I usually figure on at least an hour, from resort door to DTD bus stop.
