I thought we were set at CSR but now I'm wondering about the actual time difference (in minutes, hotel room door to rope drop area) between CSR and WL.
What are the rough distances and length of bus trips between CSR and each park, versus WL and each park? I know about the WL boat to/from MK, and that's obviously faster than CSR.

Does anyone know if this info is listed somewhere on a chart, eg on wdwinfo or elsewhere?

Just trying to figure out whether WL is worth the extra $1500 for our group (3 rooms, 6 nts).

Hi there,
I've stayed at both and IMO,it depends on which park you'll end up spending the most time at. We had no problem w/transportation at either. We usually spend alot of time @ MK, so the boat at WL was well worth it for us. We were a family of 4 at the time, dd's were 6. (We're now a family of 5 and will be staying at POR in Aug)When we stayed at CSR, we had no problem either. But if you're spending alot of time at MK, I think WL is worth it. That being said...you never can tell when you'll run into transportation glitches and we tend to be very laid back about such things. Hope that helps :sunny:

That is very helpful. We're not sure of where we'll end up, I would suspect MK and Epcot but not necessarily....I'm not sure enough to ask the family to invest $1500 on my hunch, though! Our immediate family plans on roughly 4 half-days per park, depending on the EMH and event schedules, but there are 5 other family members too!
We are generally laid back about public transportation but have one family member with health difficulties, hence the concern about faster 'commutes' to/from the parks. I think the differences are slight enough to stick with CSR (if only my TA would call back!!)

Thanks again,
Barbara
