This summer on our honeymoon we visited the BCV & BWV (we were at the ploy for 10days so we got a little :bounce: to check out other resorts)and had one heck of a time trying to get a bus there. There was only one other couple inline and for some reason they kept changing us to a different bus stop telling us to go over there and then back and then over there etc. etc. It was VERY BAD and I am thinking of buying into BWV. Was this a flook or is it always this bad. :confused3

If you mean trying to get a bus from POLY to BCV or BWV , you can't. There are no buses from resort to resort. You need to go to a park or the TTC to transfer to a resort bus.
Best to do IMO is take Poly bus to MGM , you can walk or boat to the BCV/BWV from there. :cool1:

To go resort hopping, is a hard thing to do from any resort. As the other poster mentioned, catching a bus from a park to another resort is your best bet. Then to get back to BWV/BCV, catch the bus back to Epcot or MGM. If you have park tickets that wont hurt you to use(You wont lose a days use) then I prefer waliking through Epcot to BWV/BCV. MGM seems like a bit of a hike, especially after a long day. Another option, if going to Monorail resorts, catch monorail outside Epcot, then transfer at TTC to resort monorail. Or rent a car. Thats the easiest of em all ;)

Sorry I should have explained myself a little better. We were at AK and decided not to go back to the poly and check out some other resorts. I know you can't get resort to resort transportation. :thumbsup2

Park or DTD, you can no longer get resort buses at the TTC.

Ok I will just shorten the Question down for everyone. Do buses come the same amount of times for BCV and BWV as other resorts? Because, last time we were at WDW it was very difficult to get a bus from AK.

That probably depends on the day, and time of day! I believe that all the resorts TRY to keep the same bus schedule, but stuff happens. When we were there in October it seems that everywhere we went it was AKL Guests that were waiting and waiting for buses. We were at BCV and didn't have any problems with buses. We never waited for more than 15 minutes for a bus and that was after just missing the previous one (we watched it pull away).

I've found the buses from the Magic Kingdom to the EPCOT resorts to be plentiful and uncrowded. I can't say about AK, as I rarely go there.

Be aware that the Yacht and Beach Club, Boardwalk and Swan/Dolphin are all essentially the same resort. So you can take a bus to either location and you will be at all three.

Also, it is a short and highly pleasurable walk from the entrance of EPCOT to the EPCOT resorts, so if you aren't totally worn out or in a hurry this is a great option.

It really isn't an issue for us. The only time we have had long waits for buses back to BWV were at DTD. The bus stops at AK seem to be convoluted until you really get the hang of them.
I certainly wouldn't hesitate to buy at either BWV or BCV based on the buses.

Yes, the buses come as often, but the routes move around a lot. Note the disclaimers (usually, often, sometimes, we think) in the following statements.

During busy seasons often and often first thing in the morning or at closing during moderate seasons, the BW usually shares buses with the Swan Dolphin and the Y&BC get their own route. That makes three stops on the BW route and two on the Y&BC route.

During slow seasons and often the rest of the day during moderate seasons, all five stops are combined. So a single bus will service Y&BC, Swan/Dolphin, and BWVs.

If you grabbed a stop during a time they were switching routes, it could have been confusing.

We haven't had great luck with BW buses from the AK in particular - and more than once have taken either an MGM bus or an Epcot bus to get "close enough to walk home." In reality, this saves no time - the walking eats up any waiting time we would have done. But the kids gripe less than they do waiting for a bus and I'd prefer to be in motion. We've also been known to grab a cab. We've had better luck with buses to and from the MK. But I'm convinced bus luck is a relative thing - we had one trip where we ALWAYS waited, ALWAYS stood and the bus service was horrible. The very next trip, the bus always appeared magically when it was needed with plenty of seats and it was "I don't know why anyone would need a car here, this is perfect."

In July we got a bus from AK to BCV after about a 15 minute wait at about 1pm in the afternoon. Half full but still stopped at all five resorts (Swan Dolphin, BWV,Yacht Club, BCV) and BCV is generally last. Don't think there are any dedicated buses for just BCV or BWV anymore but we did not have any bus problems for the week that we were there and generally we never waited more than 15 minutes at any time. :thumbsup2

And we did not need a bus for MGM & EPCOT which made purchasing at BCV last year great. Most leisurely vacation we have had in the last 12 visits to WDW.
