bus routes question

Can someone help me out with this? We are going to MVMCP this year and are planning to stay on Disney property. I can not afford the deluxe resorts, but would like to stay at a property that would be the closest to MK using the bus route. Which resorts would be the closest to MK (shortest ride on bus)? I know sometimes the buses can take a while if there are many stops in between your resort and the park. Any help would be appreciated. I wish I could stay at the Contemporary, but too much money! Also, what is the Express Monorail? Does anyone know of a website where there is a bus route map?

When comparing travel times from the Resorts to the MK, the difference is only a few minutes at best. When it all boils down to it, one really isn't going to notice the difference between 12 minutes and 14 minutes.
