Can any one give me some info on the bus situation to and from the race. First time staying at Coronado Springs. Hoping its better than the All Star Resorts.

I can give you an "in general" answer. It may be better than the AllStars since it is not a threefer situation. Plan on having to grab the bus at the Convention Center, be elated if they run buses around the resort. They have done it both ways. So based on the smaller resort aspect, you should have a better situation.

As a side note. At least one resort will have a snafu on race morning or other time through the weekend. I have stood waiting for a bus at the Yacht Club for nearly an hour. It is a stress adder that tempers the excitement of the main event. These snafus as they occur are corrected with enough time to start, though if one is an ABC corral runner, one may have to hustle.

I have stayed at Coronado the past 2 years, and I am staying there again.

For transport to the expo, you can pick the bus up at any stop. Please note that the Expo and Race morning bus is different then the normal Disney Resort buses that take you to the parks.

For Race morning, make sure you catch the bus at the front of the resort (near the check in desk area). The bus will leave when it is full and not go to the other stops.

Its Mears that operates the buses to the expo and race. To be sure you are on the correct bus you can check with the Mears desk in the hotel lobby (well where ever it is in each hotel). They should have a schedule there...
Mears. Its the same company that picked you up from the airport in the Disney shuttle service. The front desk staff might be a bit confused about bus situations...so just confirm with Mears so no confusion (as what almost happened to me last year)

It's pretty obvious... There is a sign in the front window saying Marathon or Expo. There will be a sign out at most resorts where the marathon bus stops.

I may be confused, but only the Swan and Dolphin have a Mears desk...I think. The Disney resorts have DME in that space now.

Just to clarify, I'm referring to the Princess Half Marathon race. The Expo will be held at Coronado Springs not at the ESPN Sports.
