bus from Hyatt / PAT

Another newbie question! Our PAT is 10:45am. We were confirming transfer details with our TA (we arrive the day before, and are spending the night at the MCO Hyatt). Our TA says that we can't check in for the bus until 10am, and can leave on any bus between 10am and 12. But I thought I'd read many trip reports of people getting on the bus earlier than that.
What is right? And if she's correct and we miss the very first bus, we will miss our PAT, that's not a problem, right?

PAT is the earliest that you can arrive, any time after that is fine.

I maybe wrong on this but I thought if you stay at Hyatt in MCO you don't need a PAT. You can get on the first bus if you want too. But it would not hurt to double check.

That seems to only occur sometimes -- possibly if the pre-cruise stay was booked through DCL. The general rule of thumb: if the PAT selection screen is available to you during online check-in, choose a PAT.


OP -- your PAT is a suggested "no earlier" time, later is fine. However, your TA is incorrect about times. If you are taking DCL transfers, you can check-in starting around 9am. The first bus tends to leave MCO around 9:20am with arrival at Port Canavaral by 10:30am. Buses will continue to depart MCO approximately every 20 minutes or sooner if full, into the early afternoon. You can take any bus.
