Bus Availability at BC

We are considering staying at BC for our trip. We have two little ones so we will have a double stroller with us.

We are going at the end of January to the first week in February.

Since BC shares buses with BW and YC and I believe BC is the last stop to be picked up, do the buses get so crowded BC that they don't pick up at the BC? Will we end up with standing room only?

At the time of year you are going, you generally shouldn't have SRO buses except possibly right at RD time and park closing time. However, at that time of year, you will definitely be sharing buses with those other resorts since crowds are lower and they tend to combine routes more than at crowded times.

We have done 8 Jan vacations staying at BCV. Yes, buses to AK and MK can be SRO even during slow times. They won't always be but they certainly can be.

We stayed at the BC during a fairly busy time (right before Christmas in 2003), and the buses were shared between the BC/YC/BWI/Swan/Dolphin, with the buses always full when they arrived at the BC with SRO. However, I have read alot of reports with different experiences regarding BC bus transportation from no waits and empty buses to long waits and SRO. It's hit or miss, IMO, on how the buses will be during a particular time of year. But with that said (and transportation aside), the BC is a beautiful resort and a great place to stay. Good luck.

Hmmmm ... we'll be staying at the BC for the first time, and I figured we'd just walk over to the YC bus stop. But it sounds like the buses will already by SRO by the time they get there as well. Darn it.

I don't want to scare you but we stayed at the YC the last week of January- first week of February back in 2009, and even though the parks were not crowded at all until the weekend (Superbowl was in Tampa) we found the bus situation to be a complete nightmare. They were always packed and if memory serves me correctly they not only shared the BC, YC, and BW, but they also served the Dolphin and Swan as well. Did I see them ever not stop at a resort, No... But they were very packed, very uncomfortable, and IMHO at times very dangerous. Several times we chose to wait for another bus only to find it the same way.

Me & my sister stayed at YC last year the first week of December. The bus was shared between YC/BC/Swan/Dolphin. When we would get on the bus it was standing room only. But once the bus let people off at BC, there was plenty of seats.

When I stayed at BW in May, the MK bus went Boardwalk-Swan-Dolphin. Did not go to YC-BC.
