We are heading to WDW in May, I am not excited I think because of all the changes among other things at home.

I haven't been on the Dis for such a long time. I am just planning on going and having a nice time with the family but then I started panicking that because I haven't been keeping up with all the changes that we will end up waiting in long lines with 3 small children.

We use to love collecting fastpasses (rightly or wrongly) during the morning and using in the early afternoon before heading out for our villa for swimming and dinner kids in bed at a reasonable time.

We still plan to tour this way in as much as go for opening, spend the morning until just after lunch and leave for the day, long hot days makes kids and myself grumpy and I don't want that on holiday.

Is there anything vital I have missed or will the above plan with a laid back attitude sound like it will be fine?

By May the switch to FP+ will be complete in all probablity.

As you are staying offsite it will mean going to a kiosk to book your FP+ once you enter the park. As it stands you will get 3 FP per day and the times cant overlap. If you are looking to leave early you could book say 12-1, 1-2 & 2-3 depending on availibity. Therefore making the most of short lines at rope drop and FP for some attractions later oncebthe crowds build a bit.

I am sure you will be fine :goodvibes

thanks Elise, it will be great a holiday is a holiday it will be sunny and warm all good.
