Thanks for the welcome! We have a 'kid' in his last year/last months of high school and it has been crazy! We are all exhausted!

I know what you mean....the code doesn't help me any either. I am in the same lack-of-code-waste-land that you are. sigh. We will be at USO 10/22-10/27 and I very much want a price to make me

going during the season of HHN is tough for discounts except the AAA and APH

that hard ticket event fills up the hotel rooms.
they don't need promos for that time period.

Yes, that would be great to meet a DISer at USO!!

Yes, October is rough. DH has a workshop to attend in Memphis in October and we will be swinging down to Orlando, first, then up to Memphis. The only way I could get him to go through Orlando at all was if we had a stay at USO! He doesn't make the travel plans so I don't think he actually realizes how difficult it is to plan USO in October.

Is this combinable with the supersaver deal? I'm new to the Universal side of things, so bear with me.....I read on another thread that someone who booked over the phone got a $100 discount and I think it's related to this BK promo.

many of us here have the ap or won the 7 day pass to the parks and don't need tickets.

most of the time, you come out ahead financially if you book it separate. tickets, room that is.

Not sure if I understand what you wrote, but I booked the supersaver without tickets "resort only" via the phone and there is an online option via the Universal Orlando web site.

Ok, you can book the supersaver deal as a package or not (up to 42% off room deal), but can you add the BK discount code to the room only supersaver reservation? I tried when I called and they never heard of the BK promo. Although, I did not know the BK discount code when I called..

You need to book room and tickets as a package to qualify for the BK promo.

I've been looking every once in a while at the website to check rates for my dates but they are HIGH! I am going to be there 10/9-10/12(hopefully). I went last year in the middle of Oct and got an ap rate of 169-204 at RPR. Do you think it will happen again? I'm hoping so because otherwise we will have to stay offsite

i entered the SB contest and won the ticket.
after that and after i first posted here, i found out i could change my rate for the super bowl promo which is really a super saver rate.
it is valid for the 4 night and more stays.

3 years ago the rates dropped out of the floor on the ap rate for those dates. they did drop last year also.

if rooms don't fill up, there is always a chance that the ap rates will come down. aaa rates haven't dropped like ap rates have in the past few years.

my dates are oct 8-13.
will have to meet up with you homie and say hi ya' while i am down there.

go ahead and book at the rph. call so you get the best rate out there.
you can't always find them on the website.

if they don't drop, you can cancel 5 days out without penalty.

what you want to do at this point is to guarantee your room for your dates.

i would think the rates would be changed in september or the first part of october if rooms are not filling up.

you can call to modify your rate to the lower rate once you are booked.

i do that every year.
i book january 1st usually and use the aaa rate which is high at that point.

the rates start to drop in the summer.
ap rates last year for the dates i have again this year hit $149 with the ap.
