I can't tell you how much I thought this was going to be a cute story about Easter Chocolate and how yummy the bunny ears are... poor little fellas.

Seems some pps were right there with me.

I'm so sorry if I disappointed you. I won't be massacring any chocolate bunnies this year, because I'm not eating any chocolate right now. But I guess I could unleash my daughter on a big Dove bunny and report on that.

We found a bunny head in the yard- just the head!
We're thinking it must have been a fox. But yes that is one of the grossest things I have ever seen in our yard.

Ok - I get the ribbon for the largest take down so far on this thread - well DH does since he was driving. We were headed out for dinner one night a couple of years ago and it was the first night meeting the extended family of my DB's wife to be. We were on a well lit highway but right near an escarpment and ravine with lots of wildlife and we killed Bambi.

They came out of nowhere across a four lane highway. The mother jumped and cleared the hood of the car which shocked us (and had me doubled over under the dash - thankfully I wasn't driving) but the baby was coming behind her and ran right into the driver's door.

We stopped in a church parking lot to re-group and then I made DH turn around and see if it was ok...it was not.

We headed down into the city for our dinner - I had many cocktails and at our first meeting with our new about-to-be-inlaws we got to confess to our murderous drive in.

Of course. It was like the "black friday" before easter. DD is going to be extra happy this Easter morning.

MM, you know that you are now responsible for all the little children getting their Easter baskets, right? Kinda like The Santa Clause? You killed the Easter bunny, now you ARE the Easter bunny!!!
