I saw a picture of a room with bunk beds and the lower had a trundle bed under it. Do all the bunk beds have this trundle bed under them? We are going with a two year old and this would be great to pull out next to the bed in case he falls out. He hasn't quite got the hang of staying in the bed yet.

Thanks

There would then be room for 3 kids to sleep? One in the top bunk, on in the bottom and one in the trundle?

<font color=navy>Yes, Snow Brite, there is room for three kids.

The Grand Californian usually stresses that the bunks are for younger kids.

I'm 5'0", and I fit in the lower bunk w/no problem. My 12 yr old son barely fit, & my 11 yr old dd slept in the top bunk. The trundle is geared for younger children.

Here's a pic I took of the rascals on the bed. You can see the trundle peeking out at the bottom of the bed. My dd is about 5'1", and my ds is about 5'6" or 7" ... a little too tall for the bed, but he "fit." I wouldn't put him on the top bunk, though.

there's a pack & play in the closet also . . . if your child is young enough to sleep in one, then this room can actually sleep 6 - 2 in the queen bed, the trundle, bunkbeds + the pack & play.
