Okay, I have a few more questions for all my lovely Disney Friends ......

1. We have never done an EMH day before so I don't know much about it or how to utilize our time to the fullest. In your opinion how likely is it that we can accomplish the following within the hour.
* Peter Pans Flight
* Mr Toads Wild Ride
* Matterhorn
* Buzz Lightyear
* Space Mountain

After we ride all these we would like to head over to the Nemo ride before the gates open?

Does this sound like a good plan, if not any advice on how to make the most out of our EMH?

2. Is the Penny Arcade worth going to?

3. Where is the best place to get the Mickey Ears and to have them embroidered?

4. How early do the schedules come out for parade and firework times on the Disney website?

5. Any tips or ideas on foods or snacks to try?

Thanks :flower3:

Hi reyasmommy!

2. The Penny Arcade is nice to go to if you haven't been there before. It's nice to look at.

4. When are you going ? I'd say at least 3-2 weeks before? I'm not quite sure.. I would say in a month in advance but I'm going in September and they don't have that up yet.

5. If you like sweet things and don't mind caramel, head over to Pooh's Corner and try their Tigger Tail. It's worth a try!
If you haven't had a Dole Whip, go try some! It's right in front of the Enchanted Tiki Room. I haven't tried it but it's a favorite on DISboards!

Have fun on your trip!

I don't think you can do all of those before the park opens... Maybe the first 4, then do Nemo then grab FP's for Space!:thumbsup2

You probably could do the above five rides during Magic Mornings (not called EMH at DLR) - but I would recommend against it. I would save Space Mtn and Buzz and do them during regular hours with FP.

Also, Nemo is open for MM and so if you go there after MM ends the line will be lengthy - depends on the time of year.

Here are some threads with good MM advice:

2. Is the Penny Arcade worth going to?
IMO no.

3. Where is the best place to get the Mickey Ears and to have them embroidered?
Hmmm. It has many years since we have done this. My first thought is to check the Mad Hatter.

4. How early do the schedules come out for parade and firework times on the Disney website?
Typically about 2 months ahead of time. You can find last years entertainment schedules at www.laughingplace.com.

5. Any tips or ideas on foods or snacks to try?
Blue Bayou at DL. Dole Whip at Tiki Room. Taste Pilot's Grill at DCA.

Thank you... I'll try a Dole Whip for sure. :goodvibes

Like I said I'm a little new at this... I didn't realize that NEMO was open for MM, so that will make things much easier, and I'll save the FP rides for later.

Thank you all so much for your help :hug:

Both Nemo and Peter Pan have lines that build quickly. Nemo is definitely the new "rush to" ride at opening (MM or regular). It would be tough to do both Nemo and Peter Pan during MM. By the time you are done with one, the other will have a line of 30-45 minutes.

I would do Nemo first one day (either MM or regular opening) and then Peter Pan and the rest of FL another day (either MM or regular opening).

For either ride, but especially for Nemo, the earlier you get to the gates and the closer you are to the front of the line, the quicker you will get through these rides and move on to your next ride.

We were first in line at the gates both days at DLR. We were on the first sub for Nemo and off the ride by 7:25 (an MM day). The next day we were first on Peter Pan and off it by 8:05 (reg opening day)!

Definitely get to Mr. Toad's and Matterhorn either after Nemo or Peter Pan, but save those FP rides for later in the day. Use your precious morning time for all other rides.

Don't waste your EMH on Mr. Toad. I have gotten on it with HUGE crowds in less than 10 min. save that one for latter. Buzz Lightyear is a continuous loading ride, and is not hard to get on either. (Got on yesterday in 15 min.-it was 2:30 in the afternoon , after the earthquake with limited rides working!)If I had EMH I would go on this:
1. Peter Pan- the line is ALWAYS HORRIBLE
2. Matterhorn- the line builds to huge during the day
3. Nemo- only 30 peeps can ride at a time
4. Space Mountain- what can I say, love it!

I have made this order so you can go from ride to ride and end up at Space. If you are going on a weekday in Sept. , your lines won't be too bad. If you are going on a weekend, follow this. Hey, enjoy. Everywhere you look you will have fun.

Ps. Don't forget Autopia, it rocks and those lines get long too!

Take Hydro guy's advice on MM. We don't use MM for any fast pass ride, so that takes Buzz and Space out of the equation.

Go to Peter Pan first, then work through the other fantasy land rides - if you must do dumbo, do that second - you will get through them all in the time you have.

As other posters have said, nemo is a whole different ball game...you bascially should plan to use a whole MM on Nemo - that way, if you have extra time for other rides, it's a bonus, not an expectation.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! You've all been so very helpful. I'll be sure to skip all the FP rides until later and go straight to Nemo and Peter Pan first for my MM. You're all the best! :grouphug:
