Booked Dec 2013 flights in May 2013 (booked them separate and not RT). In Nov 2013 I saw our flight down was lower so I cancelled and re-booked and then a few days after that we decided to go a day earlier and that flight was even cheaper so I again cancelled and re-booked. I had @ $180 total credit and was told to use w/in a year and I assumed that meant form that Nov (when I got the credit). Called today to use it and it's gone...lost on May 6th, a year from when I initially booked my flight.

I have also been trying to build rapids rewards...4 flights to and from MCO and all I have is about 4K points. What a joke. We preferred Jetblue the one time we flew them, so back to Jetblue we go...out of Reagan though but it's worth it. Any sales I should wait for...don't know much about Jetblue. What about making any changes to the booking?

Call sw they have in the past allowed you to reinstate a credit for a fee.

The credit has to have already expired which it did for OP and I believe they now charge $100 to reinstate the credit. I have never done it myself, but I think that was the last price I read about for this.

Thanks guys. I did call SW and she couldn't help me but gave me another # to call and I called and called for a while and it was always busy :confused3...so I just went ahead and booked the Jetblue flights. They were a tad cheaper anyway and we like the TVs they have at each seat and we can select seats. So a better deal all around. Thanks for the info though...good to know in case I need to book another flight anytime soon.
