Building or Room Request for SSR

We leave for SSR in 21 days . The last time we stayed at SSR we were lucky enough to get a building right across from the pool and food court. I think we were in the Springs section. Anyway, I would love to get a room in this area again. We definately plan on spending lots of time at the pool this trip and with 2 little kids the closer to the pool and community hall the better. So my questions are...

1. What building and/or room should I ask for?
2. What is the best way to send in this type of request? Direct call or email Member Services?

Springs or Grandstand b/c both have pool bars and fun places for kids.

I have a question: how old are your little kids if you don't mind me asking? We're thinking of bringing a 3 month old down for that time.

Has anyone used the daycare at SSR. Were there in August.
We requested the Springs building.

Hi BCV2002. My kids will be 3 1/2 and 7. They really love the pool and are looking forward to spending Easter in WDW.
Does anyone know the best way to make a room request? Do I call member services or the SSR front desk?

Members services.

I called in our room requests last week. Tried MS first but kept getting their busy signal so I called SSR front desk. The CS who answered the phone had to put me on hold to ask if she should take the request, but came back and told me to call MS.

Thanks. That is just what I needed to know. I will call MS tomorrow. I am going to ask if we can be put in a 1BR in the Springs section so we can be near the pool and Artist Pallet.
