It's Sunday... which means it's time for another Random WDW Photo of the Week!

DSCN5955remy.jpg

When Mom, Heather, Helen, and I had lunch at Les Chefs de France last summer, I didn't tell the others that Remy might make an appearance... one, just in case he didn't show and they were disappointed, and two, if he did come by it would be a surprise! We had a great interaction with Remy and his "handler", Armand. (And a very yummy lunch, too!)

Well, just one ADR change, to be exact.

We changed our dinner reservation for Raglan Road from Tuesday (10/16) to Sunday (10/14). It started with a rumor I'd read about Be Our Guest possibly opening by October, which got me thinking:

Hmmm, should we try to get an early ADR at BOG for the night we do the Halloween party? No guarantee it'll be open late enough for dinner, or even open at all. But having dinner somewhere inside the MK might not be a bad idea…

Our original plan for Tuesday was to have an early dinner at Raglan Road (I think it was for 3:00) and then make our way over to MNSSHP… with the hopes of getting to the MK by 6 or so.

If we change to an ADR inside the park, we can get there as early as 4. That would be easier than trekking all the way to DTD, then over to the MK... and we could push dinner back a little bit. Now where to eat? We've been to LTT and Tony's, but not crazy about either of those. Shane won't want to do a character meal, so CP is out. Hmmm, what about The Plaza? I've read good things about it…

After talking it over with Shane, his suggestion was to not schedule an ADR and grab QS instead… and to move RR to Sunday night (our arrival) Our ADR is now for 7:00, which is great because with the old 3:00 reservation, we would've missed the entertainment... now I'll be able to watch some Irish step-dancing while dining! :yay:

That sounds like a great change! You will love the Irish Dancer and music...so much fun! Funny, as I was reading this post I thought "Oh Great! Now they will be able to enjoy the entertainment!!":thumbsup2

I think Shane is right on track with no ADR on party night! I would hate to give up an hour or more of my party time! I say grab the fast CS meal, and get back to the festivities! :)

I currently have an ADR for the Plaza for our MNSSHP night but that is what I would change to BOG if it is open. I figure the Plaza is simple food so hopefully it won't take too long...

I think RR is the ADR I'm most looking forward to! Can't wait to give it a try.

More party time is a good thing! :thumbsup2

I think you're right about it hopefully not taking long. And I think the menu looks good, and I've heard positive reviews about The Plaza. I'd like to try it sometime, but we really want to try Raglan Road. And since we're on the DDP, we didn't have any TS credits to do both. We're already going to be paying OOP for our breakfast at Boma, and I know Shane wouldn't want to have TWO meals we'd have to pay for (I can see him now, "What's the point of being on the dining plan if we're just going to pay for meals?!" :sad2: )

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Wow, the Be Our Guest restaurant might be open by October? I saw an update about it today on FB, the chef was talking about some of the things that will be available there, and said it will be open by the holidays...what holidays, though? Halloween? Thanksgiving? AHHHH! We need answers, I wish they'd stop being so vague! pirate:

silly ole be our guest is confusing my ADR schedule. if it opens up we will eat there - hopefully- and cancel another one.

Just trying out the DISboards iPhone app!

I just downloaded it myself and its pretty handy! Just a shame it doesn't bring up my subscribed threads or maybe it does and I've just not figured it out yet!

Btw am glad the plans are coming along nicely.
