This started yesterday (december 8th)

This is so cool if you are a star wars fan! I know my brother and boyfriend are HUGE Star Wars fans and they freaked out when they heard about this! Now it's all they talk about I have a feeling that I'm going to spend my whole trip at Disney's Once Upon A Toy Store

*updated the link it should work now*

link didn't open for me either. Of corse they would do a lightsaber the week after I leave, lol. My nephew is obsessed with sw and that would have made the perfect christmas gift.

This is awesome! My son will love this. Not to mention it will also prevent me from having to purchase TWO $35 light saber toys so my son can create the double edged darth maul light saber! Thank goodness we are going in February :)

Yep, this started at the beginning of the week. You can pick your own accessories, etc. Want a double edge saber, no problem! Whether you want to be a jedi master or a sith lord, this is the place to create your light saber!

:sunny:

My husband and son did this on Friday. They had a blast and are still talking about it. I do have one word of warning, though.

As you pay, they give you batteries so that your lightsaber will light up and make noises. We didn't put the batteries in until we got back to our room, and so we didn't realize until then that if you get a double bladed saber only one side will light up. We took our son's saber back, thinking he was missing a part, and found out that he wasn't - it's just not designed for both ends to light up. :confused3

They allowed him to switch one of the sides to a red blade instead of the clear one he had selected, and he's very happy with it. Still, I thought it was something that would be good to know before making a double bladed lightsaber.

I built mine:D It was a lot of fun making it, and you get a pin (Jedi or Sith) depending on which lightsaber you make.
