Build-a-pins and Glue

Some of the build-a-pin bases have room for more than 2 add-ons. Since there are only 2 slots to have them put on there at the parks, is there any type of glue that would hold an add-on if you wished to put it on yourself? I know you would be taking a chance it could come off, but some of them just would look better with more add-ons attached to them.

Not sure if it will work on the enameled parts of the pin but I have had the back prong fall off pins and it works to hold them on.
You can get a very strong epoxy at your local hardware store to use on the pins. It is a two part epoxy that turns dark grey when it dries. It holds tight.
I have a pin that I wear alot and the flat part with the prong point came off. I used this epoxy and it stayed on for almost 2 years so far.
Make sure it is the grey epoxy, the clear stuff does not work.
I don't have the name of the stuff right now but if you can't find it by saying grey metal epoxy let me know and I will get the name for you. Peggie

The recommended epoxy is called JB Weld. I have used this this stuff with success. It takes a long time to set up...I usually let it dry at least overnight, if not 24 hours. The instructions say something less than 24 hrs. There is another recommended glue called E-9000 or something like that. That one I have not used before. It is for jewelry. I think it might dry faster than JB Weld. I saw them both at Michaels. The warning label on the E-9000 was kind of alarming. I guess they don't want the kids sniffing it. Good luck!
