I still think there is a good chance Giles is dead and we are seeing The First in his place. He still hasn't touched anyone or anything, and he now seems to be trying to convicne Anya that bringing Buiffy back from the dead is the cause of all this trouble, and thus She, Xander and Willow are to blame for the whole mess.
I like the bit they did to boast the confidence of all the proto-slayers. Their whining was getting a bit old.
My wife and I came up with an interesting possiblity on where this might all be going. If Buffy's return from the dead did indeed cause the trouble, then Buffy might have to die (again) to restore balance. But killing Buffy would leave the world without an experienced slayer just when it needs one most. But wait! If Buffy could sacrifice herself for Dawn, couldn't Dawn sacrifice herself in place off Buffy to restore the balance? I think there is a good chance that Dawn just might do this at the end of the season.
So, what did you think of the episode?
